We Are Looking For
There are many things happening in the community, this is the place to come, not only for jobs, but to see where you can be involved in volunteer opportunities that interest you, and also for sponsorship.
“As the directors of The Lake at Heritage Pointe, we too, although elected, are volunteers.
We undertake many projects and in turn, to make things happen,
need your help and will ask that we all work together to be a successful and proud community to live in!
You really can make a difference, please respond to our calls!”
“When community employment opportunities are available, and whenever possible,
we will endeavour to hire staff from the community.
Our own residents have a vested interest in the well being our community and the neighbourhood.
We look for responsible, enthusiastic, energetic staffing. ”

You may have seen the articles in the Western Wheel, or heard on local radio, about the plan to develop some very exciting recreational amenities to serve our community. This will include soccer fields, walking trails, ball diamonds, recreational areas and, at the heart of this, an indoor hockey arena. These will be developed within the neighborhoods of Davisburg, Heritage Pointe, Heritage Heights School and Norris Coulee to service the 6,000 residents in the MD of Foothills, Division 6, and the surrounding communities.
The Dunbow Recreation Board is promoting various fundraising events to contribute to the development of these facilities. This fall a Turkey Dinner and Entertainment evening is being organizing. It will be held October 2 at the Davisburg Community Hall. We anticipate over 400 guests will be in attendance for this fun-filled evening. Guests will include families from our local community and surrounding area in addition to hockey and entertainment celebrities.
We are looking for volunteers interested in helping with various aspects of the event from organization, promotion, ticket sales, to food servers and clean up. There will be activities for children, silent auction and hopefully live entertainment in addition to the dinner.
Of course, we are also looking for silent auction items and donations if you can contribute in that way. Tickets are available at Heritage Heights School or Heritage Pointe Golf Course Pro Shop.
