This winter we will endeavour to be open, to visit more frequently, and to be  personally available, 7 days a week from 11am – 4pm  for lake skating.  Skating season is  typically from mid December to February.

In 2010 we also adopted an  international flag system to communicate Ice Safety Conditions.  For your safety, ensure that you check the flags posted at the Lake House, both curbside ( at the front) and another on the  lakeside..

GREEN means - Safe to skate RED means – Unsafe to skate

Spring is a quiet time in the neighbourhood, but we will be busy gearing up for the summer, so mid February to mid May, we would still like to welcome you to visit the Lake House, 7 days a week from 11am – 4pm . Come have a coffee!

The summer is our busy time, so you can look to our being open for our extended hours daily 11-9 pm.

Fall is normally again a quiet time, but we  intend to stay open 7 days a week from 11am – 4pm, so please feel free to drop by. Coffees always on!
